Privacy & GDPR
Information on personal data used for table bookings.
Data controller
QUEEN AFRICA, 10 rue des Petits Viéziers, 62000 Arras, France. To exercise data rights, phone +33 6 07 95 94 70 or write to the postal address.
Information collected
Table bookings require only your first name, last name and phone number. Booking details include party size, date, time, assigned table and booking status. We do not ask for email addresses or bank details.
Purpose and lawful basis
Your data is used exclusively to manage your table booking and related messages or calls, including a manually initiated SMS when necessary. GDPR Article 6(1)(b): pre-contractual measures requested by the customer and performance of the booking service. No unrelated marketing use.
Recipients and hosting
Booking details are held in a protected data file on Queen Africa’s OVHcloud hosting, not on a personal computer. Access is restricted to authorised restaurant managers. Information is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.
Retention
Bookings are kept for up to 90 days after the reservation date and then removed by an automated clean-up process. Hosting-provider backups may follow a separate retention schedule that must be checked with OVHcloud.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure or restriction as permitted by law. Complaints can be made to the French data protection authority at cnil.fr. Requests are normally answered within one month.
Security
Bookings and administration are transmitted over HTTPS. The administrator password is stored as a password hash; Android access uses revocable tokens. Essential session cookies are used only for administrator access.
